Most people think of every detail of our wedding from childhood. The hairstyle we will have, the dress we will wear and how our bouquet will look are just some things we think about. Planning the wedding may seem overwhelming unless you have help.
Practice your walk many times. Do it at the venue in which you are getting married, and wear the footwear you’re going to wear on the big day. This will give you much more confidence on the big day.
When you’re getting plans together for your wedding, consider the types of alcoholic beverages you’re going to be serving. Also be aware of the cost. For example, an open bar can cost you an arm and a leg, especially if it’s open throughout your reception. If holding the wedding at an outside venue, they may have alcohol serving options available that can control costs.
If you’re taking care of the food yourself, shop at a wholesale store, like Costco. You will get more food for a better price if you shop wholesale. You may even ask for help with food costs from family or friends.
A wedding dress is a big expense. To help defray the cost of a wedding gown, you may wish to shop for dresses that may not be considered a wedding dress. Consider a bridesmaid dress, which costs less than a wedding dress but can still fit your needs. Even if you need the dress to be altered, it will probably be less expensive than buying a wedding dress.
The most important part of marriage is the person you plan on marrying. Absolutely do not make this life-changing decision in haste. Give this person’s habits and peccadilloes a great deal of consideration.
You don’t have to let planning your wedding overwhelm you. You can plan the one of your dreams. You’re going to find enjoyment with the planning all the way to the big day!
